The revised Energy Efficiency Directive<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The revised Energy Efficiency Directive<\/a>, including the new binding target, entered into force in all EU countries on 10 October 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

It establishes \u2018energy efficiency first\u2019 as a fundamental principle of EU energy policy. <\/span>In practical terms, this means that energy efficiency must be considered by EU countries in all relevant policy and major investment decisions taken in the energy and non-energy sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

To optimize energy savings in the industrial sector, the directive expands the scope of energy audit obligations.<\/span><\/p>\n

🔵 <\/span>Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) would also have to carry out an energy audit, where there is significant energy saving potential.<\/span><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the directive makes energy management systems a mandatory requirement for large industrial energy consumers to monitor and optimize their energy efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

At national level, Member States should, among other actions, promote the adoption of energy management systems or energy audits.\"\"<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

They are the ideal solution for energy audits, continuous monitoring (e.g. ISO 50001) and for energy efficiency projects (e.g. EU Energy Efficiency Directive\u00a0 and White Certificates or Energy Efficiency Certificates, Directive 2018\/844 \/ EU \u2013 the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive and LEED certification). <\/span><\/p>\n

The Electrex systems are modular and can expand over time thanks to the multiple connection possibilities of the devices: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, RS485, E-Wi, WM-Bus, ExpBus, NFC.<\/p>\n

With a single system it is possible to monitor and manage all the energy vectors (electricity, gas, water, etc.), the environmental parameters related to them (temperature, humidity, luminosity, CO2, etc.) , the process parameters(compressed air, calories, level, status, etc.), and the operating times.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>
