Expandable integrated system for generation plant monitoring

Expandable integrated monitoring system for power generation plants, compliant with CEI 0-16 Annexes O and T, in accordance with ARERA Resolution 540/2021/R/EEL and the subsequent ARERA Resolution 385/2025/R/EEL, which require all new and existing photovoltaic and wind power plants with a capacity of 100 kW or greater connected to the MV grid to be equipped with a Central Plant Controller (CCI) featuring Active Power Limitation under external DSO command (PF2) for inverter control.

The integrated energy analyzer provides a measurement accuracy class of ≤ 0.2, as required by CEI 0-16:2025-04, Annex O (normative), Central Plant Controller (CCI), section O.13.2.1.

The system also provides:

Power Quality analysis compliant with EN 50160 and EN 61000-4-30
Environmental parameter monitoring
Integrated UPS to ensure uninterrupted power supply

Communication interfaces include:

Ethernet with three dedicated ports
Integrated 2G/3G/4G/LTE Cat.1 modem
Integrated GPS/GLONASS module
External antennas for both modem and GPS

The device also functions as a network bridge between the RJ45 Ethernet port and the RS485 port for Modbus communication with Electrex devices connected on the RS485 subnetwork.

Battery-backed perpetual astronomical clock/calendar
Non-volatile memory
Individual harmonic measurement up to the 51st order
Detection of voltage sags, swells, and interruptions
Integrated web server for displaying real-time measurements and historical data
Five opto-isolated digital inputs for status monitoring and pulse counting
Three relay digital outputs for status or pulse operation (other versions available upon request)
Optional expansion modules providing additional I/O and/or up to eight inputs for Electrex environmental sensors
Remote firmware update
Graphic FSTN display
Two calibration LEDs

Current transformer, power supply, and voltage connections are made through polarized connectors, enabling fast, error-free plug-and-play installation.
