Energy Brain is Electrex’s software platform for monitoring and managing the consumption and production of electrical energy, other energy vectors (gas, water, steam, compressed air, etc.), as well as environmental and process parameters (lighting level, temperature, thermal energy, status signals, alarms, and more).
It provides comprehensive tools for managing historical data (tabular and graphical reports), real-time measurements, Power Quality (PQ), calendars, measurement campaigns, event logs, alarms, cost centers, data import/export, Baselines, EnPIs (Energy Performance Indicators), KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and much more.
Combined with Electrex devices, Energy Brain is the ideal solution for energy audits, continuous energy monitoring (e.g. ISO 50001), and energy efficiency projects, including compliance with the EU Energy Efficiency Directive 2012/27/EU and White Certificates (Energy Efficiency Certificates).
Energy Brain functionality can be further expanded with the following optional modules:

Generates reports containing the energy meter readings of all devices installed at any monitored site within the network.

Energy Brain Pro is the advanced version of Energy Brain and includes additional features such as:

- Cod. PFSW480-00 – Energy Brain MQTT
Enables data acquisition via the MQTT protocol. Messages published to the MQTT broker are encoded in JSON format and include both measurement values and device identifiers, allowing each value to be associated with the specific instrument and measured variable. - Cod. PFSW470-00 – Energy Brain Web API
Enables integration through Web APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), providing fast and efficient access to the Energy Brain Pro database and/or Electrex NET devices via HTTP/HTTPS requests. Responses are returned in JSON format and may include:- Historical data (e.g. daily energy grouped in 15-minute intervals, hourly temperature, humidity and illuminance)
- Aggregated historical values
- Real-time measurements (e.g. instantaneous power, temperature, meter readings, etc.)

Allows integration of standard Modbus RTU devices from third-party manufacturers into Energy Brain Pro. -
Cod. PFSWEC2-HK – Energy Brain Cloud
Enables users to monitor and manage real-time and historical measurements, charts, and dashboards from PCs, tablets, and smartphones through a standard web browser.Energy Brain Cloud is Electrex’s Energy Dashboarding platform for continuous monitoring of energy consumption, energy production, and Power Quality (PQ). It supports energy efficiency initiatives through centralized data collection and processing from Energy Brain and field devices.
Cloud technology allows users to access all information through a standard web browser without installing any software on client devices. The platform can be:
- Installed on a local computer
- Hosted on a third-party web server
- Delivered as a cloud service
All processed data can be viewed and downloaded in real time from virtually any device, including PCs, tablets, and smartphones.
