The Electrex solutions for Industry 5.0 Transition plan and electrification

The Electrex IoE – Internet of Energy digital platform allows you to manage investment projects in the context of Industry 5.0 Transition plan and Electrification as it allows:

Experience Our Innovations Firsthand

The new Electrex Femto Pro, Milli, Pico, Lyra ECT NET, Libra Energy Automation Panel UPS product families and the new versions of the Energy Brain suite software will be presented at the fair.

The Italian Transition Plan 5.0 aims to support investments made by companies in 2024 and 2025 in digitalization and the green transition.

Electrex - Transizione 5.0

Expenditure on tangible and intangible capital goods referred to in Annexes A and B of the Transition 4.0 plan ( therefore interconnected and integrated in a 4.0 logic ) and capable of bringing about a reduction in energy consumption equal to at least 3% of the energy consumption of the production structure located in the national territory or at least 5% of the energy consumption of the processes affected by the investment are eligible.

Annex B (software, systems, platforms 4.0) has been expanded to include software, systems, platforms or applications for the intelligence of plants that ensure continuous monitoring and visualization of energy consumption and self-produced and consumed energy, or introduce energy efficiency mechanisms, through the collection and processing of data also from IoT field sensors.

These investments can also be drivers for other investments, such as photovoltaic systems.

Companies that will face the dual digital and energy transition as foreseen by the Transition Plan 5.0 will have to be able to monitor their energy consumption to streamline production processes and measure the savings achieved thanks to the use of digital technologies.

The success of a Project 5.0 essentially lies in the company’s ability to measure its consumption and demonstrate the energy efficiency achieved.

How to manage electrification, efficiency and energy independence

The electrification of final consumption in the industrial, private and public sectors is the most effective tool for achieving the energy transition. The residential and agricultural sectors will also benefit from the introduction of energy communities and agrivoltaics .

The first step to set up an energy transition and efficiency project is to understand where, how and when energy is used. Energy must be able to be managed and rationalized like any other raw material and to do so it is necessary to start with continuous and real-time monitoring.

The analysis and digitalization of the collected data also allows to set up projects related to energy independence to counteract cost increases and calculate the payback times of the investments made.

At the KEY 2025 fair we will have the opportunity to illustrate the solutions, technologies, services and concrete actions applied and being applied by users of Electrex solutions.

At our stand you will have the opportunity to learn more about the following topics:

  • Transition Plan 5.0: Electrex solutions for continuous monitoring and obtaining tax credits.
  • Digitalization and interconnection between systems in the company. Energy data alongside production and/or management data
  • New Electrex 2024 Instrumentation: Femto Pro D4, Milli, Pico, etc.
  • Edge computing: bringing computing resources closer to the user’s physical location or data source, enabling the convergence of OT (Operational Technology) and IT (Information Technology)
  • Power Quality: What it is and how it affects energy efficiency. THD and TDD distortion indicators
  • ISO 50001 energy certification: mandatory from 2027 for energy-intensive companies
  • The digital platform Electrex IoE – Internet of Energy (Energy Brain & Energy Brain Cloud)
  • Leverage the benefits of predictive and/or preventive maintenance through continuous data acquisition and the generation of appropriate warnings/alarms.
  • Renewables and Hybrid Energy Systems: Automated Management of the Most Convenient Energy Sources
  • Central Plant Controller (CCI) and Arera resolution 540/2021/R/eel: mandatory in Italy for production plants with nominal power equal to or greater than 1MW and connected in Medium Voltage
  • Manage cost centers to determine and act on the energy impact of each product or activity
  • Calculate the payback times of investments aimed at energy efficiency
  • Monitor and manage all environmental and process parameters (compressed air, calories, level, status, etc.) to optimize consumption and improve the quality of work environments
  • Air quality (temperature, humidity, brightness, CO2, VOC, PM, etc.): the Well and Leed protocols
  • ESG Environmental, Social, Governance reporting
  • Carbon Foot Print
  • The Electrex Solutions Partner program
  • Analysis of practical cases of applications and development , including: Management of thermal power plants, Photovoltaic, Compressors, Industrial monitoring system, Testing management, Parameter management, Lo-Ra Wi multi-site consumption monitoring, Energy Automation applications, Electrification of processes and systems (management of heat pumps and more)
