Amadori Group - Energy as a strategic resource to support growth. The ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification

Amadori Group - Energy as a strategic resource to support growth. The ISO 50001 Energy Management System certification

The degree of awareness of the "energy problem" for Italian companies that emerged from the research carried out at the end of 2012 from the Politecnico di Milano (Energy Efficiency Report - November 2012) is rather bleak.

The diffusion of organizational figures professionally dedicated to energy management within companies is very limited and this is reflected in a lack of attention to the measurement and control of energy consumption. 69% of companies take only rudimentary approaches to measure and control energy consumption, and between small and medium size only 5% of adopting an "energy management system".

Barilla improves the efficiency of its production systems
using Electrex energy monitoring and management solutions

Since 2010 Barilla has decided to implement in its Italian plants some important innovations.  One of them was to install a system of automatic data collection of energy consumption (electric and thermal) and water. The information would be logged in a single database for data analysis from a central location and also from the individual plants. The same data should be organized for each single production line and by each energy utility / provider used to manage the production processes and cost centers.

The Credem Group controls and manages the photovoltaic system using an Electrex monitoring system The Credem Group controls and manages the photovoltaic system using an Electrex monitoring system

The Credem Banking Group, has been always attentive to the theme of cost management and the return on investment. When they decided to install a photovoltaic system at one of their properties it was considered appropriate to adopt a system for measuring and managing the plant, in order to ensure a more efficient and effective management. The choice has fallen on an Electrex monitoring system which provides to the Energy Manager and the maintainer a continuous control on the operation of each component (inverter, panels, etc..) In order to avoid total or partial production blocking and at the same time allows to measure the energy used for production activities.
